A panel of portraits of important religious figures of San Antonio. Top left: Rt. Reverend A.D. Pellicer, D. D. consecrated Dec. 8 1874 died April 4 1880. Top right: Rt. Reverend J.C. Neraz, D. D. consecrated May 8, 1881, died November 15, 1894. Center: Rt. Reverend A. Forest, D. D. consecrated Oct. 28 1895, died March 11, 1911. Bottom left: Rt. Reverend J.W. Shaw, D. D. appoint Coadjutor Bishop of San Antonio Feb. 7 1910. He was consecrated Titular Bishop of Castabala April 14 1910, then succeeded to the See of San Antonio March 11, 1911. Later, made assistant to the Pontifical Throne and finally succeeded to the See of New Orleans on January 25, 1918. Bottom right: Rt. Sev. Arthur J. Drossaerts, D. D., appointed Bishop of San Antonio, July 18, 1918, consecrated Dec. 8 1918, and promoted to the dignity of First Archbishop of San Antonio on August 26, 1926. He was enthroned on February 16, 1927.
